Our company is called EDMdesigner. We are a fully remote company, headquartered in Budapest, Hungary.

We founded our company back in the end of 2013 with an initial investment. Later on, we bought out our investors.

We are currently working on three products. The first is the Chamaileon APP that streamlines digital marketing teams' email creation processes.

The second is the Chamaileon SDK for SaaS companies with which they can easily extend their platforms' functionalities with high-quality software components.

The third one is brand new, we haven't even published it yet. It will help huge publishing companies to efficiently manage their email templating problems, and it integrates with their services that they use on a daily basis.

When there is no pandemic, we are having a "company day" and a "company beer night" every month. The first means that we go together somewhere in a 100km radius of Budapest to have some fun there. The beer nights are held in Budapest.

During the pandemic, company days are virtual. We are usually having hackathons and we play some games together.

We are a fully-remote company, so you can work from anywhere, but we want you to be available in working hours in our time zone. (Central-Europe.)

Important to note, that we are a full-remote company. It inherently means that you have to be able to solve a lot of things individually since you won't have the chance to ask from others at every given time you want from others (because we are not sitting in an office). It does not mean, that you can't ask (on the contrary), it just means that it is harder to do so because you - and at least another person - will have to jump into a call.

On the frontend side of things, we are using Vue.js, Vuex, and Vuetify.js.

On the backend side of things, we are using Node.js, MongoDB, and AWS technologies.

We use microservice and micro frontend architecture, so releasing can be quite a challenge. That is why it's very important to have thorough tests in place.

As a Senior QA Engineer, your responsibility will be to shape up a testing strategy and to automate everything that can be automated. You will have to mentor junior QA engineers and manual testers as well.

If you love automation and you feel that you have enough experience to speed up the release process of complex software, then this position might be just the right one for you.

Tests are crucial to keeping up the quality of our product. As a Manual Tester, you will be responsible for writing and running all the project-specific tests before every production release to detect critical bugs. We'll count on your critical thinking at the project planning meetings. You'll work closely with our automation QA engineers and the development team.

Over time, we plan to increase the weight of our automation tests instead of manual tests, so if you want to train yourself as an automation quality assurance engineer, this will be a good fit for you.
